Called to LEAD - Faith-Filled Leadership is an immersive program designed to equip emerging church leaders with the essential skills necessary for transformational ministry. This comprehensive program spans one year, offering a blend of foundational leadership courses, expert speakers, and hands-on project development. Participants will be guided through a journey, from vision setting to practical implementation of a faith-based leadership project, supported by ongoing mentorship from their designated Cultivator. At the end of this program, participants will present their Leading and Growing project and, if chosen, will have six additional months to work with their Cultivator. Seed money will be provided with the goal of executing their plan for leading and growing their communities with purpose and passion.

Program Overview:
- Called to Lead Workshop-Kickoff and Welcome The program begins with a warm welcome and an introduction to the overall goals and expectations. Participants will learn about the timeline of the program, Leading and Growing Project opportunities to launch, and the support they’ll receive from their assigned Cultivator throughout the year. The initial session sets the tone for collaboration and growth.
- Emotional Intelligence
This course focuses on developing self-awareness and authentic leadership. By cultivating emotional intelligence, participants will be able to foster collaborative relationships that enhance team dynamics and drive peak performance in ministry. The course culminates in a research-based final project. - Adaptive Leadership
Designed to challenge participants to think critically, this course explores how adaptive leadership can provide solutions to promote organizational growth in the church context. Participants will interview individuals who offer insights on how adaptive leadership can be practically applied. - Equity Leadership
This course focuses on creating an inclusive environment that fosters trust and belonging. Participants will learn strategies for designing systems that promote success for all members, regardless of background or circumstance. A framework for an equity-driven project will be developed as a part of this course. - Innovative Leadership
In this course, participants will learn about design thinking principles and how to apply them to create innovative solutions for church growth and ministry development. Participants will develop the details for their own project during this phase. - Transformational Leadership & Change
This session equips participants with the knowledge and skills needed to facilitate whole-system transformation, from assessment to implementation. By the end of this course, participants will have drafted the final details of their leadership project and outlined the expected outcomes. - Faith-Based Leadership
The final course is the culminating experience of the program. Church leaders will be challenged to develop and communicate a Christ-centered vision for ministry that inspires and strengthens their faith community. Participants will walk through their final project presentation in preparation for the concluding session. - Final Project Presentation & Evaluation
During the final workshop, participants will present their fully developed Leading and Growing projects, which should focus on leading a community to faith. Projects will be evaluated, and awards will be given to those who have successfully met the program’s goals. - Project Implementation
Following the completion of the workshop, participants will begin to implement their leadership projects with continued support from their Cultivator. The program concludes with the launch of the Leading and Growing project, accompanied by a three-year strategic plan for its sustainability and growth. Three one-hour sessions with their Cultivator will guide participants through the launch phase.
