EDGP 5219 | Helping the Helpers: Conscious Discipline for Mental Health Professionals
May 1, 2025 - Dec 31, 2025
1 CEU
Full course description
Schools and families rely on Mental Health Providers to be the calm in the storm during times of stress and upset, but these dedicated professionals aren’t immune to compassion fatigue and upset themselves. Join Anne Hoff, Tracy Skripka and Kelsey Donnini as they explore Conscious Discipline as an intersection between mental health and education and breathe new life into the role of Mental Health Provider by focusing on safety, connection and problem-solving. Wherever you practice, this two-day event will help you increase your own reflective capacity and build your skillset so you can, in turn, provide effective, responsive interventions and therapeutic opportunities with the adults and children in your care.
