Course: CEE 0284 | Act 20 In Action
Act 20 in Action is a four-week course designed to equip educators with the knowledge and skills required to meet Wisconsin’s Act 20 requirements for literacy instruction. Participants will explore evidence-based strategies for teaching phonological and phonemic awareness, phonics, oral language development, vocabulary, writing, comprehension, fluency, and building background knowledge.

Ms. Erwin is a proud graduate of Concordia University Wisconsin. She has been an adjunct instructor for more than 12 years. Her research interests include Disciplinary Literacy, High-impact instruction, and Intervention Strategies. She enjoys teaching Language and Literacy Development, Literacy Assessment, and Improvement in Literacy Instruction.
