Course: CEE 0323 | FoRT Study Session

The Wisconsin FoRT (Foundations of Reading Test) is a required test for aspiring teachers and reading specialists in Wisconsin. It assesses candidates' proficiency in reading development, comprehension, and instruction, including areas like phonics, vocabulary, and assessment strategies, by combining multiple-choice questions and open-response essay questions. A passing score on the FORT is a requirement for initial teaching licensure in Wisconsin, particularly for elementary and reading-focused licenses. This one-day, in-person study session will help enrollees prepare for the test.

The FoRT 890 will be replacing the FoRT 190 August 26, 2025.
