Full course description
This course is designed to allow students the opportunity to shadow a variety of employment opportunities on or off campus. This course allows students the experience to explore different career options and different areas of interests in order to help students make an individualized career decision. This course will allow students short-term opportunities throughout the semester to gain an insider’s view into different career fields. This course is supported by the Career Prep Coordinator and will begin to look at the soft skills essential for employment.

Instructor BIO:
Tasia graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a Master of Education in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education. Tasia's experience includes Career Counselor for Career Services at University of Wisconsin-River Falls where she provided career advice and guidance to current and prospective students and alumni through one-on-one meetings and presentations. Tasia has a passion for working with students and mentoring them on their way to success. Her favorite aspect of what she does in Career Services is assisting students in discovering strengths, values, interests, and personality through career assessment.
