Full course description

This course rounds out the HESED Transitional Program 3rd Year Programing. This course provides students the opportunity increases their independence in functional living skills, money management, and social/emotional well-being with community experiences and opportunities. This course will provide students the additional chance to expand their job portfolio, complete post-graduation job applications, and on post-graduation vocational placement. This course is the culminating course in the HESED Transitional Program and will be the concluding course to address student’s personal, vocational, and independent living goals in an applied learning model.

Instructor BIO:

Tasia graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a Master of Education in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education. Tasia's experience includes Career Counselor for Career Services at University of Wisconsin-River Falls where she provided career advice and guidance to current and prospective students and alumni through one-on-one meetings and presentations. Tasia has a passion for working with students and mentoring them on their way to success. Her favorite aspect of what she does in Career Services is assisting students in discovering strengths, values, interests, and personality through career assessment.
