This self-paced module series is designed to support graduate literacy students who did not complete the revised and DPI-approved coursework aligned to Wisconsin Act 20. The four modules provide targeted instruction and assessment in the core components of science-based early reading instruction: phonological awareness, phonemic awareness, phonics, and writing instruction. Each module ensures that students demonstrate the essential knowledge and skills required for reading teacher and reading specialist licensure under Act 20.

Instructor Information: Steven Witt
Dr. Steven Witt is a PhD scholar, researcher, and Director of Graduate Literacy, specializing in evidence-based educational theory and instructional practices. A national and international presenter, he brings expertise in literacy leadership and transformative coaching. Dr. Witt is the author of multiple works, including Leadership Resilience: The Path to Possibilities, which explores how leaders grow through trauma, purpose, and service.
